Appraise Your Jewelry with J. David Jewelry

Appraise Your Jewelry with J. David Jewelry

At this time, unlike Real Estate/Real Property Appraisers there are no state or federal licensing or educational requirements to be a Personal Property Appraiser. A well trained jeweler or gemologist is able to tell you what the item is, but additional education in valuation methodology is needed to ensure you have got the correct values on your items.

Cost Per Item

All of our events are held in person because we understand the importance of having your jewelry appraised promptly and at a fair price. To secure your appointment, a $75 down payment is required. The fee for appraising your first item is $145, with each additional item costing just $115. If you prefer not to wait, you're welcome to drop off your items, and we’ll notify you as soon as the appraisal is complete!

Insurance Appraisals

Our appraisals are accepted by all insurance companies. Our belief is a more detailed appraisal helps ensure a more detailed and accurate replacement from your insurance company. Certain policies and carriers require additional appraisals from appraisers to verify sales receipts and descriptions.
